Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel with selected yeasts and a 25-day maceration. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation in French oak and matured for 18 months — 70% in 500-litre tonneaux and 30% in French barriques, one-third of which were new. The oak ageing softens the structure while enhancing depth and savoury complexity. Contains sulphites. Its name recalls the era when Bolgheri's landscape was marked by open fields (“Campi”) and starlit paths illuminated by comets (“Comete”). The estate was founded in 2016 by Antonio Capaldo, who envisioned a new expression of Bolgheri through international grape varieties and artistic inspiration. Renowned illustrator Nicoletta Ceccoli captured the estate's whimsical identity in her dreamlike artwork, now featured on the labels.
