The estate holds Napa Green, Fish Friendly Farming and California Sustainable Winegrowing certifications. For the 2022 Reserve Selection, 78% of the fruit came from three of those estate vineyards and the rest from seven valley-floor sites in Oakville, St. Helena and Calistoga, picked between 8 September and 18 October. The wine had an extended maceration of around 36 days, then 19 months in French oak, 31% of it new, before being bottled unfiltered in September 2024.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eFood and drinking\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGood with ribeye, slow-roasted lamb shoulder, mushroom dishes and mature cheddar.
