Franck-Lin Dalle, the third generation of his family to run the estate, makes the wines from a wide range of traditional Rhône varieties, and in 2019 Campuget was certified Haute Valeur Environnementale, the French scheme recognising biodiversity conservation, plant protection, managed fertiliser use and water management. Costières de Nîmes sits at the eastern edge of the Languedoc but works like the southern Côtes-du-Rhône vineyards across the river, its fairly uniform soils marked by large pebbles over alluvia on gentle, typically south-facing slopes, with strict canopy management balancing sun and shade. La Sommelière is made from selected grapes off the best vines on the estate, traditionally vinified, matured twelve months in oak barriques and bottled without filtration.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eFood and drinking\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eServe at 16 to 18°C.
