The house holds Equalitas sustainability certification at organisational level and for some of its wines, and featured in the Top 100 of The World's Best Vineyard Awards 2025. La Pettegola comes mainly from vineyards on the Tuscan coast, where sandy soils drain freely and sea breezes keep the vines healthy, with a portion from Montalcino, where clay and pebble soils radiate warmth back into the fruit for even ripening. The vines are top-wire cordon trained for good air circulation. Winemaker Matteo Bagnoli ferments in stainless steel at 13–15°C, rests the wine three months on its lees for texture, and skips malolactic conversion to keep it fresh and vibrant.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eFood and drinking\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGood with poultry, seafood, pasta and risotto.
