Description
A sophisticated and age-worthy Rioja from one of the region’s finest single vineyards, offering deep fruit, complexity and exceptional elegance.
About the Winery: Bodegas LAN crafts Viña Lanciano from its historic 72-hectare estate located on a dramatic meander of the River Ebro. Surrounded by water and protected by natural slopes, Lanciano is regarded as one of Rioja’s great single vineyards. Its unique mix of stony, poor soils and extreme temperature shifts produces structured, concentrated wines with finesse, balance and long ageing potential. The wine is made parcel by parcel and matured in a combination of French, American and Caucasian oak for depth and refinement.
