About the Winery: Alvar de Dios is one of Spain’s most respected new-generation winemakers, producing terroir-driven wines from ancestral vineyards in Zamora and Toro. Aciano comes from a single, ungrafted pre-phylloxera vineyard planted in 1919 in Villadepera. Farmed organically and vinified with minimal intervention, the wine reflects purity, finesse and the unique sandy soils of this historic site.
