About the Winery: The Vietti family has produced fine wine from the heart of the Langhe since the 1800s. They are known for establishing single vineyard crus in Barolo and Barbaresco and for their dedication to art and innovation in winemaking.
Grape Variety: 100% Nebbiolo – a thin-skinned, high-acid, high-tannin grape that produces balanced, elegant wines with notes of strawberry, plum, cherry, rose petal, and hints of tar and spice.
Appearance: Medium garnet with a brick/orange rim that deepens with age; bright clarity.
Aroma: Strawberry, plum, cherry and rose petal aromas; hints of tar, violet, licorice and dried herbs.
Palate: Full, complex and harmonious palate with firm, fine tannins and a balsamic note on the finish.
