About the Winery: Bodegas LAN, founded in 1972 and named after the provinces of La Rioja, Álava and Navarra, is known for its innovative barrel programme and meticulous vineyard selection. D-12 takes its name from a historic fermentation tank reserved for the winery team’s favourite plots, showcasing a modern, concentrated expression of Tempranillo from top Rioja vineyards with carefully judged ageing in American and French oak.

Appearance: Deep cherry-red with a violet-crimson rim and bright, youthful sheen.
Aroma: Ripe black cherry, plum and redcurrant layered with vanilla, cocoa, sweet spice and subtle toast from mixed American and French oak.
Palate: Medium to full-bodied with juicy red and black fruit, notes of mocha and spice, and a touch of smoke; fine, rounded tannins and balanced acidity lead to a long, savoury finish.
