The producer
Les Marchais is 55-year-old vines facing the Premier Cru plots of Lavaux St Jacques and Clos St Jacques — among the best ground in Gevrey. The Naigeon family have been in the village over 150 years.
Food and drinking
Good with poultry & pork, red meat and cheese. Drinking well now, with a decade or more ahead of it. Serve at 16–18°C.
