About the Winery: With over 150 years of family heritage, Domaine Pierre Naigeon is one of the leading producers in the Ca´te de Nuits. Established in Gevrey-Chambertin since 1890, the estate today encompasses 11.5 hectares of organically farmed vineyards. Pierre Naigeon passionately champions sustainable viticulture, using no herbicides or insecticides and focusing on low-intervention winemaking to produce elegant, terroir-driven wines from old vines‚¬”most over 50 years old‚¬”imparting extraordinary concentration and depth.
Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir.
Appearance: Deep ruby red with bright reflections and medium density.
Aroma: Alluring aromas of raspberry and cherry with dried fruit, earthy tones, and a hint of spice and oak.
Palate: Medium to full-bodied, showing refined fruit, balanced oak, and silky tannins. Layers of red berries and savoury earth lead to a smooth, elegant finish.
Body: Medium-bodied (Body Value: C).
Acidity: Balanced and fresh, accentuating the fruit purity and mineral backbone typical of Gevrey-Chambertin.
Cellaring Potential: Will evolve gracefully over 8‚10 years, developing complex tertiary aromas of truffle, forest floor, and spice.
