The producer
The Scottish-born Ryrie brothers planted the first vines in Victoria here in 1838, on 17,400 hectares. The Yarra Valley is cool-climate country 45 kilometres east of Melbourne, with dramatic variation in elevation.
Food and drinking
Good with seafood, rich & creamy dishes and poultry & pork. Ready now, and will hold for a few years yet. Serve at 10–12°C.
