Description

Vibrant and elegant South African Pinot Noir‚¬”mountain herbs, savoury spice and wild strawberry aromas with delicate fruit layers, purity and silkiness.

About the Winery: Founded by Californian winemaker Samantha O‚¬™Keefe, Lismore Estate Vineyards is nestled at 300 metres in the foothills of a dramatic mountain range near Greyton, Cape South Coast. Chilled by winter snow and warmed by the African sun, the vineyards produce cool-climate wines of precision and depth. Since its establishment, Lismore has become one of South Africaof most acclaimed boutique wineries, combining passion, perseverance and a sense of place to craft artisanal wines of remarkable purity.

Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir

Appearance: Bright ruby with translucent clarity and soft garnet edges.

Aroma: Fragrant bouquet of crushed rose petals, jasmine and wild herbs with subtle cranberry and raspberry notes.

Palate: Silky and refined, showing vibrant red-fruit purity balanced by gentle oak spice. Cellaring Potential: Enjoy now for purity and brightness or cellar until 2030 for tertiary complexity and spice development.

Perfect Pairing: Duck breast with cranberry glaze, seared salmon, or wild-mushroom risotto with herbs and parmesan.
