Tempranillo (Tinto Fino): The local Tempranillo clone, Tinto Fino, is early-ripening with thick skins, yielding deep color, firm yet polished tannins, and moderate acidity. In Ribera del Dueroa¢€š¬€ž¢s high-altitude, continental climate and limestone-clay soils, it expresses concentrated blackberry, plum, and violet with notes of licorice and spice. Sensitive to oak, it integrates vanilla, cocoa, and subtle cedar with age, and has strong aging potential.
