Description
How it tastes
Citrus and tropical fruit layered with brioche, honey and walnut, carried by a distinct minerality and crisp acidity into a lingering citrus finish.
The producer
Greyton is high, cool and unfashionable, which is exactly why this costs what it does. Samantha O'Keefe built the estate from nothing after arriving from California, and lost much of it to wildfire in 2019 before replanting.
Food and drinking
Good with seafood, rich & creamy dishes and poultry & pork. Ready now, and will hold for a few years yet. Serve at 10–12°C.
