Why this wine
Eden Valley is one of Australia's premier cool-climate regions, high and rugged, and produces Chardonnay with far more tension than the warm inland areas. Bob and Cherie Berton planted thirty hectares here at 450 metres in 1996. Considerably more wine than the price suggests.

Bob and Cherie Berton established the estate in May 1996 — thirty hectares on rolling hills at 450 metres in the Eden Valley, one of Australia's premier cool-climate regions.
Food and drinking
Good with seafood, rich & creamy dishes and poultry & pork. Ready now, and will hold for a few years yet. Serve at 10–12°C.
