2022 Mâcon-Loché “Longues Terres”, Domaine Laurent Cognard
About the Winery: Domaine Laurent Cognard, based in the southern Mâconnais, is known for its precise, terroir-driven white Burgundies. Farming a mosaic of limestone-rich vineyards, Cognard emphasises minimal intervention, sustainable viticulture and careful parcel selection. “Longues Terres” comes from high-quality Chardonnay plots in Mâcon-Loché, a small, well-exposed appellation producing wines that combine freshness, generous fruit and Burgundy’s hallmark minerality. Cognard’s style is elegant, balanced and deeply expressive of the region’s limestone soils.
