About the Winery: Neal and Judy Ibbotson established Saint Clair Family Estate in 1994 after pioneering Marlborough viticulture in 1978. The family owns 160 hectares across 10 carefully selected sites that reflect diverse terroirs of the region. Their sustainable vineyards and expert winemaking have earned Saint Clair international acclaim, with consistent awards and recognition from critics such as Bob Campbell MW, who describes them as producing ‚¬œthe worldof best Sauvignon Blanc.‚¬ Sustainability and quality remain central to every vintage.

 

Grape Variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc ‚ selected from low-yielding vines grown in the Wairau Valleyof free-draining silt-loam soils.

 

Appearance: Pale straw with subtle green hues, reflecting purity and vibrancy.

 

Aroma: Expressive nose of gooseberry, nettle, and blackcurrant bud interwoven with tropical passionfruit, white peach, and hints of crushed herbs.
