Description
How it tastes
Pleasantly fruity and elegantly aromatic, medium-bodied with agreeable acidity and a dry, velvety finish. Chardonnay 40%, Grechetto 30%, Sauvignon Blanc 30%.
The producer
From the coolest part of Carpineto's Vino Nobile estate at around 300 metres, on clay-rich soil. Founded at Greve in Chianti in 1967 by the Sacchet and Zaccheo families, farming 500 sustainable hectares across five carbon-neutral estates.
Food and drinking
Good with seafood, salads and poultry & pork. Ready now, and will hold for a few years yet. Serve at 10–12°C.
