Why this wine

How it tastes
Pear, apple and peach with delicate mineral overtones — elegant and linear, finishing fresh and lively.
The producer
Six generations of the Lageder family since Johann laid the foundation stone in 1823. Fruit comes from selected vineyards around Tirolo near Merano, and at Pochi and Penone, each with its own microclimate.
Food and drinking
Good with seafood, salads and poultry & pork. Ready now, and will hold for a few years yet. Serve at 10–12°C.
