How it tastes
Wild raspberry and ripe plum with delicate floral notes, smooth and silky with fine tannins. Half whole-bunch, half destemmed, fermented with natural yeasts.
The producer
Grown at 1,100 to 1,400 metres in the Uco Valley, where warm days and cold nights hold the acidity. The name is the argument: a deliberately fresh Malbec made against the plush, oaky style the grape became famous for.
Food and drinking
Good with red meat, spicy dishes and cheese. Ready now, and will hold for a few years yet. Serve at 16–18°C.
