Description

How it tastes

A pale and elegant rose bursting with aromas of pink grapefruit, white peach, and raspberry, complemented by a refreshing herbal lift and mineral freshness. Expressive and fresh with aromas of pink grapefruit, sanguine orange, and white peach alongside raspberry and subtle herbal undertones. Crisp, textural, and vibrant, offering flavours of red citrus, peach, and summer berries balanced by mineral tension and herbal lift. Fermented at low temperatures (15–17°C) after a short four-hour maceration and matured for three months on fine lees to enhance texture and depth. Contains sulphites. Information provided to the best of our knowledge at time of publication and subject to change by vintage.

The producer

Founded in 1996 by the Tsililis family, Theopetra Estate is located at the foot of the Meteora Rocks near the prehistoric Cave of Theopetra, one of Europe's earliest sites of human habitation. Archaeological discoveries — including ancient grape seeds — prove the area's deep-rooted viticultural history. The estate's mission is to revive the region's winemaking legacy by cultivating indigenous Greek varieties organically. Today, Theopetra's 15-hectare vineyard combines heritage and innovation, producing expressive wines that capture the unique terroir of Meteora's limestone-rich hillsides.
