Monthly Bottle Draw — Terms & Conditions
Each month we send a bottle to one person who has talked to us on social media, and a second bottle to one person on our email list. No purchase, no entry fee, no hoops. These are the rules that govern both draws.
The promoter
Edka Ltd, Bridgend County Borough, Wales. Contact edka@edkawines.com.
Who can enter
- You must be 18 or over.
- You must be resident in the United Kingdom, with a UK delivery address.
- Employees of Edka Ltd and their immediate families cannot enter.
- No purchase is necessary and entry is free.
How to enter — the social media draw
- Leave a genuine comment on any EDKA Wines post on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or X during the calendar month.
- All four platforms are pooled into a single draw.
- One entry per person per month, however many comments you leave and across however many platforms. Extra comments do not improve your chances.
- Comments that are abusive, spam, purely promotional, or posted from duplicate or automated accounts will be excluded.
- Entries open at 00:01 on the first day of the month and close at 23:59 on the last day of the month, UK time.
How to enter — the subscriber draw
- Be signed up to EDKA Wines emails at edkawines.com/pages/subscriptions or through any other EDKA Wines sign-up form, and have confirmed your subscription by clicking the link in the confirmation email.
- Every confirmed subscriber is entered automatically. There is nothing else to do.
- One entry per person per month. Duplicate addresses belonging to the same person count once.
- You must still be subscribed at the moment the draw is made. If you unsubscribe before the draw, your entry lapses.
- The subscriber draw covers subscriptions confirmed by 23:59 on the last day of the month, UK time.
- The two draws are separate. Being both a subscriber and a commenter gives you one entry in each.
The prize
- One bottle of wine, selected by us from that month's Wines of the Week.
- We choose the wine. There is no choice of bottle, no cash alternative, and the prize is not transferable.
- One winner per draw per calendar month — two bottles in total, one for each draw.
- Delivery to a UK address is included.
The draw
- Each winner is drawn at random from all valid entries in that draw within five working days of the month ending.
- Social media draw: we will contact the winner by reply or direct message on the platform they commented from. Subscriber draw: we will contact the winner at the email address they subscribed with.
- The winner must respond within 14 days, confirming they are 18 or over and providing a UK delivery address.
- If we cannot reach the winner, or they do not respond within 14 days, or they cannot confirm they are over 18, we will redraw.
Age verification and delivery
- This prize is alcohol. It will only be sent to a person who has confirmed they are 18 or over.
- Delivery is age-restricted. Someone aged 18 or over must be present to accept the parcel and may be asked for photographic ID.
- We will not deliver to anyone who appears to be under 18 and cannot produce ID. In that case the prize is forfeited and we may redraw.
- Please drink responsibly.
Platforms
The social media draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta, TikTok or X. You are providing your information to Edka Ltd, not to any of these platforms. Sharing a post is not a condition of entry.
Your information
We use the winner's contact and delivery details only to administer the draw and send the prize. Details are handled in line with our privacy policy. Social media entrants are not added to our email list unless they separately choose to sign up. Email subscribers can unsubscribe at any time; doing so simply removes them from future subscriber draws.
General
- We may amend these terms or withdraw the draw where it is reasonably necessary to do so. Changes are published here and are not retrospective.
- Our decision on eligibility and on the draw is final.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
- Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
