Why this wine

Pauillac is the most concentrated stretch of great Bordeaux, and Batailley has long been the estate offering a genuine taste of it without the name premium. The 2017 falls between two celebrated vintages, which suppressed prices and produced a wine approachable earlier than a classed growth usually is.
