How it tastes
Intense aromas of ripe red fruits, with hints of spice and floral notes. Rich and complex with flavors of blackberries, plums, and a touch of vanilla, complemented by well-integrated tannins.
The producer
Roquette & Cazes is a collaboration between the Roquette family of Quinta do Crasto and the Cazes family of Chateau Lynch-Bages, combining Portuguese tradition with French winemaking expertise. Located in the Douro Valley, the winery is known for producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the region.
Food and drinking
Good with red meat, cheese and rich & creamy dishes. Drinking well now, with a decade or more ahead of it. Serve at 16–18°C.
