About the Winery: Founded in 2003, Andeluna produces premium mountain wines from their 70-hectare vineyard in Gualtallary, Tupungato, Uco Valley. Located at 1,300 metres above sea level, the vines benefit from rocky soils, intense sunlight, and cool mountain nights. Winemaker Manuel Gonza¡lez and consultant Hans Vinding Diers craft expressive, minimal-intervention wines that capture the essence of Mendozaof high-altitude terroir.
Grape Variety: 100% Malbec.
Appearance: Deep violet with an intense, inky hue and bright ruby rim.
Aroma: Complex bouquet of ripe blackberry, violet, and plum, interwoven with subtle notes of vanilla, tobacco, and dark chocolate.
Palate: Full-bodied and structured with rich black fruit, cocoa, and spice. Fine-grained tannins lead to a long, elegant finish marked by sweet oak and freshness from the high-altitude vineyards.
Body: Full-bodied (Body Value: E).
Acidity: Balanced and fresh, supporting the wineof richness and length.
Cellaring Potential: Can be cellared for 8‚10 years, developing greater complexity and tertiary character.
Perfect Pairing: Excellent with grilled steak, braised short ribs, or rich mushroom dishes.
Serving Temperature: Serve at 16‚18°C to highlight its depth and structure.
