About the Winery: Founded in 1890, La Rioja Alta S.A. is one of Rioja’s most celebrated traditional producers. Located in Haro’s historic Barrio de la Estación, the estate is known for long ageing, in-house barrel coopering and meticulous craftsmanship. Viña Alberdi represents the estate’s youthful, fruit-expressive style while retaining the finesse and balance that define the house.
Grape Variety: Tempranillo 100% (from Rioja Alta vineyards)
Appearance: Bright ruby-red with garnet hues and excellent clarity.
Aroma: Red cherry, raspberry and strawberry compote with notes of vanilla, coconut, warm spice and a touch of dill from American oak ageing.
Palate: Medium-bodied and silky, offering vibrant red fruit, soft tannins and delicate oak spice; elegant balance with a smooth, lingering finish.

Cellaring Potential: Drink now or cellar 6–10 years for more savoury complexity and tertiary development.
