Why this wine
Pichon Baron is one of the Pauillac Second Growths that routinely performs above its 1855 rank, and 2021 is the kind of cool, classical vintage that made Bordeaux's reputation — lower alcohol, fresher fruit, tannins that need time. It was bottled in 2023 after 18 months in mostly new oak. The most traditional bottle in our range, for a cellar rather than a weeknight.
