Why this wine
A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, old-vine Semillon and Chardonnay from three separate high-altitude sites, fermented and aged in concrete eggs. Semillon is a grape Argentina has quietly grown for a century and almost never bottles seriously; here it gives the texture and a waxy edge. Unfamiliar and worth the risk.
