Why this wine
Randall Grahm spent decades arguing that California should plant Rhône grapes rather than imitate Bordeaux, and this single-vineyard Syrah from one of the state's coolest valleys is that argument in a bottle. Whole clusters, a little co-fermented Viognier, used oak, no fining or filtration. Peppery, savoury Syrah for people who find Napa too sweet.
