Grape Variety (Nebbiolo): 100% Nebbiolo; a native Piedmont grape that is thin-skinned and late-ripening, known for high tannins and vibrant acidity. Typical notes include rose, cherry, tar, and licorice. In Barbaresco, grown on calcareous marl, it shows refined tannins, aromatic lift, and earlier approachability compared to Barolo.

Appearance: Deep garnet with ruby highlights.

Aroma: Intense aromas of red cherries, rose petals, and hints of spice.
