Why this wine
Alejandro Fernandez is the producer who proved in the 1970s that Ribera could rival Vega Sicilia, and Pesquera remains the estate the region measures itself against. Pure Tempranillo, firm and dark, in a style that hasn't chased fashion. A piece of Spanish wine history that costs no more than an ordinary Rioja.
