Classic Napa Valley Cabernet redolent of blackcurrant and cedar underpinned by chocolate flavours ‚ elegant, smooth and opulent.
About the Winery: Founded in 1970, Raymond Vineyards is a Napa pioneer with organically and biodynamically farmed estate parcels in Rutherford and St. Helena, powered entirely by renewable solar energy and certified by Napa Green and CSWA.
Grape Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon 84%, Petit Verdot 6%, Petite Sirah 6%, Cabernet Franc 2%, Malbec 2%.
Appearance: Deep ruby-purple with an opaque core and vibrant rim.
Aroma: Blackberry, raspberry and blackcurrant layered with warm plum, cedar and chocolatey nuances.
Palate: Plush and opulent with ripe dark fruit, cedar-spice and cocoa; extended maceration and 18 months in French oak (37% new) add texture and length.
Body: Full-bodied (Body Value: D).
Acidity: Balanced, supporting richness and a smooth, velvety finish.
Cellaring Potential: Enjoy now or over the next 8‚10 years as tannins integrate and savoury complexity builds.
