Description
How it tastes
Complex, smooth, and silky with rich aromatics of honeyed peach, hazelnut, and racy lime balancing luscious stone fruits through to a refined mineral finish. Aromas of ripe stone fruits, honey, and hazelnut with underlying notes of white blossom, lemon peel, and wet stone minerality. Richly textured with flavours of peach, lime zest, and almond layered over subtle oak creaminess. A racy mineral line runs through the palate, balancing opulence with tension and freshness for a long, elegant finish. Contains sulphites. The producer
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains in Paarl, Brookdale Estate was revitalised by the Rudd family in 2015. Their vision is to craft world-class, expressive wines from Mediterranean varieties that thrive in Paarl's warm, granite-rich soils. The estate is managed by winemaker Kiara Scott Farmer, one of South Africa's most talented young winemakers. Brookdale's philosophy blends tradition and innovation, producing wines defined by texture, balance, and distinctive terroir expression.
