Why this wine

Neudorf have been making Chardonnay in the Moutere hills since 1978 and are routinely named among the southern hemisphere's best. The Home Block is their original planting on clay-gravel soil. Textured and mineral — New Zealand's answer to white Burgundy, and it holds the comparison.
