About the Winery: Matias Riccitelli Wines was founded in 2009 by Matias Riccitelli, son of the acclaimed Argentine winemaker Jorge Riccitelli. Drawing on experience gained at Mendozaof top estates and vintages worldwide, Matias established his own 50-hectare project across three prime sites in Lujan de Cuyo and Valle de Uco. His goal: to capture the authenticity of Argentinaof finest terroirs through sustainable farming and minimal intervention. Today, Riccitelli is one of Mendozaof most dynamic boutique producers, known for precision, vibrancy and depth in every bottle.
Grape Variety: 100% Malbec
Appearance: Deep purple with ruby edges and pronounced viscosity, typical of high-altitude Malbec.
Aroma: Fragrant notes of violet, black pepper, liquorice and toasty spice lift from a core of ripe blackberries and plums.
Palate: Concentrated yet poised, offering dense dark fruit, fine-grained tannins and a long finish with herbal and mineral nuances. Fermented with 80% whole bunches and aged in French oak vats, this Malbec reveals remarkable balance and freshness.
Body: Full ‚ powerful but refined with smooth texture and length.
Acidity: Medium ‚ providing freshness and lift to the ripe fruit core.
