About the Winery: Domaine Madeloc, part of the Parcé family estates (also known for Château de Lastours and Domaine de la Rectorie), crafts expressive, terroir-driven wines from the dramatic schist terraces of Banyuls and Collioure. Nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees, the domaine works by hand on steep slopes, focusing on minimal intervention and preserving the purity of each site. Tremadoc Blanc showcases the unique maritime influence and mineral depth of Collioure’s coastal vineyards, producing a white wine of texture, vibrancy and Mediterranean character.
Grape Variety: Typically Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris and Vermentino (composition varies slightly by vintage)
Appearance: Pale gold with silver-green reflections and brilliant clarity, highlighting freshness and Mediterranean brightness.
Aroma: White peach, citrus zest and pear layered with fennel, white flowers, sea spray and a distinctive mineral note from Collioure’s black schist terraces. Subtle herbal and saline tones elevate the aromatic profile.
Palate: Fresh, textured and finely balanced, offering flavours of lemon, stone fruit and green apple supported by Mediterranean herbs and a persistent saline minerality. The palate is layered yet vibrant, finishing long with purity and coastal tension.
Body: Medium-bodied with a refined, gently creamy texture from lees contact.
Acidity: Medium to medium-high, offering lift, structure and excellent balance with the wine’s Mediterranean richness.
