About the Winery: Family-owned since 1743, Wiston Estate is one of Englandof most respected sparkling wine producers. Located on the South Downs in West Sussex, the estate is managed by the Goring family, who have combined tradition, sustainability, and innovation to craft premium English sparkling wines. Their chalk-based soils and cool climate mirror those of Champagne, while winemaker Marcus Rayner-Ward employs biodynamic principles to enhance biodiversity and terroir expression.
Grape Variety: 34% Chardonnay, 33% Pinot Meunier, 33% Pinot Noir.
Appearance: Pale gold with a fine, persistent mousse and bright clarity.
Aroma: Inviting aromas of green apple, lemon zest, and sourdough, accented by hints of grilled walnuts and apricot.
