Champagne Gosset

Champagne Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne, founded in 1584 in Aÿ — nearly two centuries before the region's other big names. It started as a still red wine producer and only moved into sparkling once the region's natural effervescence was understood.

Today it ages everything in oak or old foudres rather than stainless steel. The range we carry runs from the everyday Extra Brut NV to the richer, longer-aged Grande Réserve Brut NV. We carry two, both rated by Jancis Robinson, with the Grande Réserve also scored by Wine Enthusiast.
