Craggy Range

Craggy Range was founded in 1998 by Terry and Mary Peabody, who searched three continents before settling on Hawke's Bay for its gravel soils and cool maritime climate. It is built for the long term — literally: the family set up a 1,000-year trust to keep it that way, and three generations now work the business together.

The range runs from bright Gimblett Gravels Chardonnay and Syrah to Sophia, their Bordeaux-blend flagship. We carry six, from entry Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to the top Syrah, Le Sol.
