Dr Loosen

Dr Loosen has been in the same family's hands on the Mosel for more than two centuries, working steep slate vineyards above Bernkastel. Ernst Loosen took over in 1988 and turned it into one of Germany's benchmark Riesling names — wines that stay light on alcohol but concentrated in fruit off those slopes.

The range runs from the easy-drinking 'L' Riesling to single-vineyard Grosses Gewächs bottlings. We carry four, from the entry 'L' to the rare Erdener Prälat GG.
