Quinta da Romaneira

Cima Corgo, Douro Valley, Portugal · Since 1757

Quinta da Romaneira has had vines on its stretch of the Douro since at least 1757, one of the properties recorded when the region was first demarcated. It holds over 3km of riverfront in the Cima Corgo, the heart of Port country, and since 2004 has been rebuilt vineyard and winery by an investor group.

Alongside traditional Vintage Port, they make structured reds from old, mixed-variety vines. We carry five, spanning Port and table wine, most with named James Suckling scores.
