Karmrahyut is an indigenous Armenian variety almost nobody outside the country has tasted, and ArmAs bottles it unoaked so there is nowhere for it to hide. A decade in bottle has softened it into something perfumed and savoury. Few wines at this price offer a grape that is genuinely new to most drinkers.
