Why this wine
Vallado has been in the same family since Dona Antónia Ferreira's day, and this is the wine from its certified organic vineyards at Quinta do Orgal, out in the hot, remote Douro Superior. Sixteen months in used French oak shapes the wine without flavouring it, so the floral Touriga Nacional character stays in front. A serious Douro red that is still built for the table.
