Why this wine

Educato shows what limestone at 380 to 400 metres does for Chardonnay in the Langhe. A third of the wine is fermented in new French oak and none of it goes through malolactic, so the texture is rich while the acidity stays taut. From an estate that keeps more of its land in forest and grassland than in vines.
