Why this wine

English rosé has a natural advantage: the cool season that makes the sparkling wines work also gives still rosé aromatics and acidity most warm-climate versions have to fake. Simpsons grow everything themselves on North Downs chalk, and skipping malolactic keeps this taut where others turn soft. The Vinolok stopper is a nice touch on the table.
