Why this wine
Most Rioja is blended from across the region; Finca Martelo comes from one 60-year-old plot at 630 metres, farmed by La Rioja Alta's Torre de Oña estate. Two years in barrel and a long, fine 2016 harvest give it the polish of a modern Reserva with real depth underneath. A single-vineyard Rioja at a price that still makes sense.
