Why this wine

Cerequio is one of the most significant crus in the whole of Barolo, and Vietti's holding there is a single hectare of vines averaging 36 years. Thirty-two months in Slavonian and French casks, then bottled unfiltered. This is the top of the Vietti range and it behaves like it.
