Why this wine

Cultus is the estate's barrique-aged Riserva, built from massal-selection vines propagated off Badia a Coltibuono's oldest plantings. Richer and more polished than the classic Riserva, but still recognisably Sangiovese from Monti. A good demonstration of what organic Chianti Classico can do with a little new oak.
