Why this wine

Cannubi is the most celebrated named vineyard in Barolo, on the ridge above the village itself, where the Sant'Agata marl and the Diano sandstone meet. Brezza farm it organically and age in large Slavonian casks, which is the traditional way and increasingly the rarer one. Around nine thousand numbered bottles, held back a year before release.
