Why this wine

Pomerol on a small scale: a handful of hectares on the plateau's southern slopes, organically farmed and aged on its fine lees without racking. Merlot at its plumpest, with the iron-pan subsoil showing through as something earthy underneath. A real Pomerol address at sane money.
