Why this wine

Riserva here means two years in large oak and at least six months in bottle before Carpineto will let it go, and the 2020 arrives already open. Vino Nobile is Sangiovese grown at Montepulciano's altitude, so it keeps a savoury, meaty edge where warmer Tuscan reds turn sweet. From a producer twice honoured by the IWSC, farming five carbon neutral estates across Tuscany.
